My story
Episode 1
On Tuesday the 10th of July 1990, in desperation, I went to a little church in Hillbrow and gave my heart to Jesus. I cried like a baby on my way to being born again as a Believer.
I was forever changed.
30-plus years later I began to search for Jesus in the Mo'edim of Israel. That led to Hebrew lessons online with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem:

That led to a trip to the Holy Land, Israel. It was a life-changing 3 weeks. Peggy, Louis & Clint, the tour leader. The most amazing time of my life!
Clint lived in Israel for 30 years and knows it like the back of his hand. He'll tailor-make a tour to suit you. For your own, real experience of the true Israel, the one the Messiah would have walked in, here is Clint's email address:

I came back from Jerusalem understanding Ephesians 2 like I could never have imagined. I was grafted into the House of Israel. It would take a few years for the graft to take perfectly, but the journey into the Torah had begun.
I have been studying at Yeshivat Shuvu, in the URI programme for 2 years now. Our teachers are Jewish Messianic Rabbis - Rabbi Dr Izack Shapira, founder of Ahavat Ammi Ministries, and Rabbi Dr Steven Bernstein, who leads Aydat HaDerekh. I have learnt so much about my Messiah, and my knowledge and understanding of the Word of God deepens every day.

Penny what an amazing testimony of Hashem’s grace and mercy and benevolence. Lovely to read…Baruch Hashem for this opportunity you had…and Baruch Hashem we get to experience it through you…
ReplyDeleteWe are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and we are called to declare G-d's mercy and kindness to us as often as we can - what a privilege to be called by His Name!
DeleteThank you, Penny for your amusing diary entry. You have a way with words that makes it a treat yo read your post. Baruch HaShem, you studied the 4th aliyah of Parshat Lech lecha. Well done
ReplyDeleteTodah rabbah. Baruch HaShem that He gives me the words!:) I have a new-for-me way of reading the Torah portion, 1st Aliyah on Yom RIshon, and so on throughout the week. Taking it in bite-sized portions allows me to get the most out of it.
