Shabbat Lekh Lekha

 Shabbat Shalom to one and all!

    Before Shabbat starts I'd like to share what happened to me today.

    I am still not feeling so great so I have no energy to cook for Shabbat this week - in fact, I still have to do the dishes! - so I went to the freezer and lo and behold, I found not 1 but 2 frozen dishes labeled "Shabbat chicken & veg" - I had clean forgotten that I had cooked them a previous week. Problem sorted.

    When it came time to drag myself off to the shop to get a few nice things for the Shabbat table, I saw that I only had a little money left and wasn't sure it would be enough. Suddenly there was a little voice calling from the door - it was the lady from downstairs whose friend had bought a pair of shoes from me - she brought me the money! I had clean forgotten about that too!

    So I made my little list and when I got to the till, it was just the right amount, with just the right amount left for me to give my tithe on it. How awesome is HaShem! He gave me money for Shabbat and even enough to tithe with!

    Little miracles happen to us every day, God's blessings are always raining down on us. It's us ourselves that stop them at times. I am so grateful that I was able to receive this blessing today. Thank You, Adonai💓
