 Friday

    We had breakfast together and spent some time looking at the garden and chatting, then he went to his mom where they all happily played Monopoly for hours. Upon his return we completed the Shabbat prep and lit the candles, said the blessings and ate our Erev Shabbat meal together. We retired watching AlephBeta videos from the year they did the Parsha Experiment. He loves those!

    It is so precious to have him near me again. I fell asleep on his bed, watching the above-mentioned videos and soon felt him nudging me to say I could go back to my bed as I was snoring! Me?

Shabbat

    By the time Juan-Dre arose, I had done the Shabbat morning Kiddush and we ate breakfast together. All three Shabbat meals. It was so nice to share my Shabbat with him. We walked outside, played a board game, he watched some videos online and played on his phone a bit while granny had a little nap. We played some catch, watched some more of his favourite Torah videos - and one or two of mine! - and after the 3rd Meal we did Havdalah together and sang Eliyahu HaNavi and Shavu'a tov whilst clearing away the Shabbat things. This was the best and most favourite Shabbat I have ever had! We fell asleep telling each other how nice it was to have each other close again.

Sunday

    Breakfast and brushing teeth started the day. Connor was visiting his granny and Juan-Dre and I played Go Fish and Pictionary for hours. He is now swimming and having fun with his friends.

    During his absence, I went with my sister-in-law to visit my mom in ICU. I had spoken to the neurologist in the morning and he assured me she was as stable as could be expected. She had been awake and talking all morning, and by the time we got there, she was resting peacefully and comfortably. I am so grateful to HaShem for His mercy.

    Tonight we will have an array of  delicious Shabbat food that we couldn't finish yesterday. I may also make some of his favourite Pancakes with Peas - yip, you heard right! My beloved grandson is indeed such a wonderful and unique individual!

    My twin daughters are going to see their granny tonight and thereafter coming here for a visit. We may just have a Second Supper of Pizzas!

    Always a lot of action when Juan-Dre is around!
