Week of Joy - Day 3
Wednesday
When it's too cold to swim but you still want to be with your friend💖
After a night of more AlephBeta videos - and, again, ONE of mine! - we had a peaceful nights' sleep. It was an early morning for me, doing my personal Torah reading and study, then spending ages on the phone with ICU to make sure the doctor phoned me about my mom. When he did, it was good news and I felt like cracking open a bottle of champers! Baruch HaShem for His mercy.
Towards the end of my Hebrew lesson, my beloved grandson woke up and moseyed around a bit until I was finished. We ate and planned the day, then walked to his friend - the picture above is the result. There were other things involved in the day too, like Play Station. A beautiful day was spent building memories between these two precious souls.
He came home just as I finished my afternoon class - happy, content and with a full tummy. But that didn't stop him finding little things to snack on - waffles, chips & cooldrink. Did I mention that I love my grandson to eternity beyond?!
We worked some more on our puzzle. Since all we have left to do are the hard bits, like the sky, he decided to pack it in for the day and go and sit on his bed with his phone. Neither of us is hungry right now, so we are probably going to have a late meal this evening. Did I mention that I LOVE having him here with me?!
I thank God for the life of my mother and for the life of my grandson and for giving me this time with both of them.
Most precious. ENJOY :-) Thank you for sharing. V
